🗓️ May 11 - 17 2025
📍 Desa Guwang, Sukawati, Gianyar - Bali
This May, the streets of Desa Guwang, Sukawati in Gianyar, Bali will come alive once again with bold colors, striking imagery, and powerful messages as the Tangi Street Art Festival returns for its third edition. From 11 to 17 May 2025, artists from across Indonesia and around the world will transform public spaces into open-air canvases, celebrating the power of street art to connect, inspire, and ignite conversation.
Organized by Yayasan Kolaborasi Dunia Tangi, this grassroots-driven festival has grown into one of Indonesia’s most exciting public art events. More than just murals, Tangi is about community. It fosters dialogue between people, cultures, and generations through art that lives, breathes, and evolves in the public eye.
This year’s theme draws inspiration from the Balinese philosophy of Tri Hita Karana, which centers on the balance between people, nature, and the divine. A concept deeply embedded in local life, it provides rich inspiration for the artists invited to explore themes of harmony, coexistence, and
connection through their work. The result is not only a festival that is relevant, but rooted art that responds to its surroundings while offering new perspectives.
The 2025 lineup features nine acclaimed artists from both Indonesia and abroad: Bali-based street artists and muralists Slinat, Awshit, and Ayu Muniarti will showcase their evolving styles, alongside renowned names like Stereoflow from Jakarta and Sicovecas from Yogyakarta.
International artists Luogo Comune (Italy), Joren Joshua (The Netherlands), BAKIBAKI (Japan) and Joan Aguiló (Spain) complete the roster. Their participation highlights Tangi’s growing global reach, while maintaining a deep connection to local culture.
