Artist Statement

I write to understand and to remember. My poetry captures fleeting moments, weaving love and emotion into metaphors that make the ordinary feel extraordinary.

I want my words to resonate—to make people pause, relate, and feel something real. If my poetry lingers in someone’s heart, then I’ve done what I set out to do.

Artist Biography

Lala writes to hold onto fleeting moments, to weave love into words before it slips through her fingers. Her poetry is a quiet longing, a whispered memory, a mirror where others might see themselves.

Through performances at Ubud Writers and Readers Festival, Apoidea Music Center Concert, and beyond, she has shared verses that linger—soft yet unshaken. Inspired by nature and the fragile beauty of human connection, she turns emotions into metaphors, hoping her words make hearts pause, ache, and bloom.

For Lala, poetry is more than language—it is a way of remembering, of understanding, of leaving something behind.
