Artist Statement

Throughout my artistic journey, I have explored various styles and subjects in painting. However, for the past six years, I have focused on owls as my main subject. Initially drawn to their unique shapes and the rich symbolism they carry, I began portraying owls in vibrant, full-color paintings, transforming them into human-like characters—such as owls riding motorcycles, taking selfies, and engaging in other everyday activities.

Artist Biography

My name is Putu Eni Astiarini. I was born in Jembrana Regency, Bali, on September 21, 1977. I have been passionate about the world of art, especially painting, since I was a child, as my father was a painter. I pursued my art education at STSI Denpasar (Indonesian Art Institute Denpasar) in 1997.
