The Kendra Art Space, serves as a unique tailored space where art-loving travellers can drop by to browse through the vibrant works on display, and where like-minded visitors mingle with the creators behind the artworks at any of its featured exhibitions.

The art space was conceived to promote contemporary art by Indonesian and international artists, on a mission to foster dialogue through its presentation of many different cultures from across the globe. Since opening in 2008, the art space’s featured exhibitions have highlighted established artists alongside budding and upcoming ones, creating a place for mutual feedback and support between different genres and generations. The Kendra Art Space functions beyond a mere art space; its library also serves as a meeting venue and workspace.
