Art as a Response to Inner Turmoil
My artistic journey is one of self-discovery. My work is a response to the emotions I experience—fear, anxiety, and the coping mechanisms that accompany them. Each piece reflects these internal struggles and transformations. Through my work, I translate these complex emotions into visual narratives, allowing viewers to engage with the raw and often unspoken aspects of the human experience. The colors and objects I choose are imbued with personal meaning, each element carefully selected to contribute to the overall narrative. Yet, I remain open to the unique perspectives each viewer brings, inviting a dialogue between my intentions and their interpretations.
But my artistic exploration goes beyond mere autobiography. I am also an enigmatic artist, drawn to the fantastical realms of dreamscapes. Through a masterful exploration of the subconscious, I unveil my innermost thoughts and emotions in eccentric, symbolic ways. These surreal creations, a fusion of fantasy and reality, captivate the imagination and challenge the viewer's perception of the world. Ultimately, my art is an invitation to delve into the chambers of my heart, a visual narrative that transcends the boundaries of self and invites contemplation on the complexities of the human experience.
My name is OCTADA, but I am usually called Tada.
I was born in 1996 and grew up in Indonesia. I currently live in Jakarta. Since I was a child, art has held a significant place in my heart. I began to delve deeper into it in 2014 when I was in college. It has been a long journey filled with many memorable experiences, leading me to discover the style that perfectly suits my artwork and with which I am comfortable.
