Antonio Blanco

The Maestro

Antonio Blanco, of Spanish descent, was born in Manila, the Philippines, and travelled around the world before settling permanently in Bali in 1952. The style of his work evolved over time from Realism, to Impressionism to Romantic Expressionism. Blanca's brushwork was fluent and fluid.

Women are the focal point of his paintings and one could say that Blanco was a painter of the eternal feminine and his style is romantic-expressive and dreamy.
