Mask & Trouble, This artwork is part of Mask & Trouble by the artist, Acul Gaos. For the artist, the life he leads requires him to wear different masks. He would then adapt the mask depending on the environment he was currently in, to gain acceptance.

Acul Gaos is a graphic designer who has been pursuing the fields of street art and painting since 2009. Began seriously pursuing fine arts in 2010 when he entered Jakarta 32° in Ruang Rupa.

""I don't sit around feeling sorry for myself. I simply conceal mistreatment towards myself."" Within this expression, the strength and struggles that may be concealed behind the role of a housewife are implied. The role of a housewife stands as an important pillar within the family, encompassing invaluable stories and contributions. Like a nurturing hero, she creates a harmonious environment that symbolizes boundless love for her family. Despite feeling tired and emotional at times, her presence and tireless efforts deserve respect and appreciation. Through this work, Acul portrays the role of a housewife as an extraordinary figure. They remain invisible yet incredibly strong, possessing the courage to sacrifice themselves for the sake of family happiness. This work invites us to appreciate and understand the immeasurable value of the service rendered by a housewife in creating the harmony and love that form the core of a family.
